Yoga Paws

Yoga like the dogs, and practice anywhere you’d like!

Black Dog Asana Approved

You’ve heard of yoga mats, towels and maybe you’ve even heard of yoga socks – but have you heard of Yoga Paws?  If you haven’t you’re missing out.  Yesterday I got a new mat and my towels were airing out after my teacher training (man were they bad).  I had been wanting to wait to try these nifty little guys out but this was a good opportunity.  The name says it all.  These are little pads that you wear on your hands and feet that allow you to grip different surfaces and practice yoga – almost anywhere.  Think of them like the pads of a dogs foot.  My main concern was that they would be restricting or that wearing them would be annoying – I’ve never practiced with anything on my hands and feet.  Man was I wrong.

When you feel the bottoms of the yoga paws you’ll know right away that they’re not going to slip around on you while you’re practicing yoga.  Then you put them on – which is super quick and easy, and if you’re like me, you’re surprised at how flexible and comfortable they are.  They didn’t feel restrictive at all…at any point in my practice.  Yoga Paws are super comfortable and do not inhibit movement at all. I didn’t slip around at all as I moved around on the new mat.  There were great.  The only annoying thing about them is that they’re so cool, Murphy keeps trying to steel them. (Maybe he likes being the only one in the house with paws?)  I know that I’m going to keep using my Yoga Paws and can’t wait till the weather gets warmer again to test them out on a yoga hike.

No matter what your level of practice or where you like to practice, yoga paws are a great tool to have in your yoga kit or bag.  Don’t want to lug your mat around but still want to be able to practice?  Yoga Paws fit in your luggage, carry on, and purse which makes them the ideal yoga travel solution as you can practice without a mat.  With Yoga Paws you can practice almost everywhere!  Yoga Paws come in different sizes and colors so make sure you stop by their site to check out all of the options and place your order – especially if you’re traveling for the holidays!  Yoga Paws also make great gifts for the other yogis in your life.
