Jendala Art

Art for the Soul

Black Dog Asana ApprovedThey say that wen you surround yourself with positive things good things will happen.  While this is true, it’s not the only reason that we love good art.  At Black Dog Asana we’re always hunting for great statutes, art, clothing, anything.  While we were out searching one day we came across a really cool artist rocking some amazing pieces.  We just had to get our hands on one.  Artist Jennifer Utsch is making art while making the planet a better place.  Her art utilizes recycled metal and glass – though you’s never know it by looking at it.  All of her pieces are beautiful.

Jendala designs are simple yet breathtaking, beautiful yet provocative.  They remind us to love ourselves and those around us, to treat everyone with respect and to enjoy art.  I cannot wait to figure out where to hang my Jendala design.  I’m a big fan of art and really understand the importance of surrounding yourself with things that delight your eyes and uplift your mood.  Sometimes we can forget the importance art can play in our lives and we tell ourselves that it is something that we can live without. Treat yourself and your loved ones to the affordable and inspirational art of Jendala.  Perfect for any room or outdoor space, her beautiful pieces will remind you to breath, respect, relax and enjoy.

My Jendala carries the word Namaste – the yoga greeting that means we recognize the divine spirit or soul within others.  Hello and greetings like it only recognize the presence of a physical body.  When I see my Jendala design it is a reminder that within me there is a soul, a connection to the creator and that I should act accordingly.  It also reminds me to treat others with respect and reverence whether we get along or not.  Through meditation and my teacher training I learned to not take things personally because when someone is lashing out, it has everything to do with what is going on in their life and nothing to do with us.  It’s easy to forget this teaching, but with my Jendala I have a daily reminder.  It’s awe inspiring that something simple and beautiful can inspire so much in your life.  I’m so thankful for my Jendala design.
