Aromatherapy Products

I love all things aromatherapy.  It is amazing how something so simple can have such an impact or effect. The best part about these products is that they achieve this affect in a natural and pure way.  In other words you can change and uplift your mood with out popping a pill and risking with dealing with all kinds of side effects from putting chemicals into your body.  Healthy and holistic living is pure and simple.  Even better, it is attainable for everyone.  A dear friend of mine and fellow yoga teacher has also become a certified aromatherapist.  We are so proud of her for launching her long awaited line of aromatherapy products, Toda Oils!  We are so blessed that she has sent us some of her product to try.  Toda Jen!  Toda is the Hebrew word for “Thank you”.  Jennifer Balsiger, owner of Toda Oils and friend of Black Dog Asana has carefully designed and crafted each of her wonderful products by hand, with all of us in mind.

Jen has brought her amazing expertise to the public and combined it with her love for healthy, holistic living and her desire to share.  All of the Toda Oils products are crafted by hand, ensuring great quality.  When you use a product that is made by hand you can feel the love and care that went into making it.  Jen’s products are no different.  Her desire is to bing peace and calm into all of the lives that she touches.  The purity of the room sprays, the foot scrubs and the bath salts is refreshing.  Their light and pleasant scents are delightful and uplifting rather than heavy and overpowering.  This morning when I sprinkled her   Renewed Bath Salts into the warm water of my bath, I could feel my senses opening and waking up throwing off the laziness of sleep and becoming refreshed.  Soaking in the water infused with essential oils, my muscles released any lingering tension and relaxed like they do in savasana after a good yoga practice.  I use a lot of bath salts and Jen’s are right up there with the store bought brands.  They take a step beyond though because not only are they crafted by hand, but Jen has created them to align with your boy’s chakras or energy centers.
