There’s always time for yoga
We understand that schedules can become jam packed, that work might force you to miss the times when your local yoga studio offers classes or that you might just simply want to try yoga out in the comfort and privacy of your living room (Or if you’re like us on your lap top in your bedroom because you live with a crazy dog or cat that thinks yoga = playtime). We have tried different yoga DVDs and want to recommend a few in case you are in this boat.
Do Yoga Online:
This is a great online resource for free yoga videos, but they also have DVDs for sale so that you can yoga along with them on something with a bit larger of a screen. Bringing yoga into your home is a great way to exercise your family and not break the bank!
Shiva Rea:
Maggie started out going to different yoga classes, fell in love, signed up for teacher training, and is broke… the answer: A $12 yoga DVD. After searching for the right DVD, it was clear that Shiva Rea was the one. Her voice is soothing, her instructions and explanations are clear. Her DVD’s give you the option to follow a selection of practices that she has compiled, or to choose a series and create your own practice. Maggie recommends both her Daily Energy and Power Vinyasa DVDs.
Three Minute Egg:
The Three Minute Egg is an innovative and ergonomic yoga block that fits every size and shape of yogi! This DVD includes both a three minute alignment series, which if done every day can give you better posture – and therefore better health. It also includes a longer series for alignment and exercise!
