Tantalizing Teas and Other Loverly Liquids

Here at Black Dog Asana we love our teas, our juices, and smoothies, even fortified waters and we want to bring you our favorites so that you can enjoy these healthy drinks just as much as we do.  We’re done with all of the sodas (or Pop as we in Pittsburgh say) and the energy drinks that are just filled with sythetic substitutes for the healthy things that mother nature offers us.

Oregon Yerba Mate:
This guy knows his tea – no really he spent two years living in South America in search of and researching the best yerba mate teas around.  Imported from South America Oregon Yerba Mate brings you great yerba mate at a great price.  Taste their passion for tea today.

Tiesta Tea:
If you like companies with interesting stories – then this one is it.  A group of friends exploring in a foreign country fell in love with tea and never looked back… well you should check out the site for the full story – they tell it much better.  Great design, great tea, great stories… what a package.

Tahoe Teas:
Locally grown loose tea that is direct to you from Tahoe.  Check out the history, and the vision behind this unique brand of tea.  Its great that you can find great tea right here in the U.S!

EcoTeas:
Based in Ashland Oregon and founded by three best friends, this company is focused on providing amazing organic and fair trade teas.  Great tea is not the only priority this company has in mind.  Green Energy, clean water, reforestation, and green packaging are also top priorities for these guys.

Adagio Teas:
This company is bringing you some pretty cool tea products.  Not only do they carry premium loose teas but also sell great products for tea storage, steeping and preparing.  From teas to honey to an array of beautiful teapots and accessories Adagio Teas keeps every aspect of your favorite beverage in mind.  As well as great tea they also focus on great different initiatives all over the world.  Hop on over to their site to check it all out!

MightyLeaf:
This is another awesome company.  If you have wanted to try loose tea but don’t want to make the additional investment of a steeping method try one of their tea pouches – you get all the flavor of a loose tea without buying anything else!  Love loose tea already? Well they’ve got great loose teas for you as well!  Looking for a gift for a tea lover? Check out their tea Presentation Box – great for get togethers!  Founded by a husband and wife in 1996, MightyLeaf is dedicated on bringing you the best tea experience possible.

Numi Teas:
These organic teas are not only delicious but they are healthy as well.  Numi takes pride in every part of the process in making their tea and celebrates every single person involved.  From the people that carefully pick the tea leaves by hand (in different countries, and all are paid a fair and respectable wage because to Numi it is human dignity that they employ not subhuman expendables like other companies) to the people that design the packaging and market their products.  Numi hands down is a wonderful company producing an amazing product.
Numi is both fair trade and fair labor certified.

Yogi Teas:
Mmm Mmm Yogi.  This delicious brand of organic teas has been in our cabinets for years.  Yogi teas’ founder is, wait for it.. a yoga instructor!  So of course we have to have a write up about them here at Black Dog Asana.  Their teas are energizing, relaxing, soothing, and more!  With the motto of “Feel Good. Be Good. Do Good.” you know that they’re going to have a quality product that fits into your yoga lifestyle.  Another great thing about Yogi teas is that you can pick them up in your local stores.  So while enlightenment might not be in your near future, you rest assured Yogi Teas can be!
