Black Dog Asana is an online resource for the yoga community that is dedicated to providing information, articles, videos, as well as product reviews.  Our selection process ensures only the best and most useful products are chosen for review.  We value our following and are dedicated to providing them with products that are Earth conscious, hold up well, and that we would use ourselves.

We select products based on:

1. Materials and sourcing of materials – are they Earth Conscious
2. Company branding – what the company’s goals and standards are
3. Does the product enhance or aid in the practice of yoga or the yoga lifestyle?
4. Is the product innovative?
5. Would we use this product ourselves

If for some reason we receive a product that is not up to these standards we reserve the right to abstain reviewing it and will ship it back.
By entering into a relationship with Black Dog Asana you are guaranteed:

1. A full review, that is emailed to the company contact as well as published to a dedicated page on www.blackdogasana.com.  This review will include photos of the product in use.
2. The review will be entered into a rotation to be featured on the Home Page of www.blackdogasana.com for one weeks time (Friday to Friday)
3. An excerpt from the review, or a short review will be posted on one of the category pages on the Black Dog Asana web site, with a link back to the company website.
4. Photos – When Black Dog Asana reviews other products, your products (ex: Clothing) may be featured in the photos, and will be mentioned in their captions, descriptions and in posts where they are featured.
5. Word of Mouth – advertising you can’t buy.  When Black Dog Asana is out and about using, wearing, or toting your products, we’ll share them and information about the company with the people whom we interact with.
6. Social Media Posts – Black Dog Asana will post images, reviews and information about the company and its products to our:

1. Twitter
2. Facebook
3. Pintrest

Sending Black Dog Asana your product for review is the first step in creating a relationship with us.  When we have developed the relationship (the product has been tested, and the review written and posted) Black Dog Asana will work hard to spread the word about your company and products, as well as try to help increase sales.
