Additional Yoga Resources

We love yoga and what it has done for us so much that we want to share all the great resources out there to help aid you along in your journey through yoga.  There are a lot of different yoga websites and resources available – so we’re working on bringing them all together in one place.  This is a bit of a daunting task, but we’re doing it for you!  Already have a favorite yoga resource and do not see it listed here?  Drop us a note and let us know about it!

Yoga Journal:
Talk about a plethora of information.  Like a bountiful and blooming lotus flower this website is just brimming with helpful information on everything from yoga, to yoga poses, to health, to lifestyle, products you name it.  You don’t know how to correctly get into that one pose – check out Yoga Journal for helpful descriptions, photos and videos.  You want to find a column about yoga, well they’ve got a few.

YOGANONYMOUS:
Another great online resource, this site focuses on teacher profiles, studio spotlights, highlighting different yoga events.  They also provide other fun stuff like giveaways, discount codes for shopping for awesome yoga accessories and tools, as well as information on yoga inspired music selections and more!  Stop on over and check out the plethora of stuff they have to offer.

Yoga Today:
A resource full of free classes online videos and classes Yoga Today is a great online yoga community. Stop by and check out their blog, create a login for their store and sample some classes, as well as check out their teacher profiles.  Yoga today is a great resource to supplement going to a studio and bring your practice into your home.

Grokker:
An innovative and energetic exercise resource center, Grokker is packed with full work out videos as well as tips and special videos that help break down things like yoga poses or provide a series of poses that help you build toward a specific, more difficult pose.

MindBodyGreen:
Want to start living your yoga off the mat?  Want to bring more green and ecofriendly products into your life and home?  Well then MindBodyGreen is the perfect resource for you.  This site is packed full of helpful and healthy tips and articles, interviews, guides and more.  Learn more about yoga and the healthy yoga lifestyle with this great online resource!

Yoga Guardian:
This is a great website who’s mission is to provide yoga students everywhere the tools to lead a more “peaceful, centered and authentic life”.  Recently Yoga Guardian has started to offer a free seven part video series with helpful tips from yoga instructor and life coach extraordinaire Wendy Billie.  Here you will find a wealth of helpful knowledge, insights and tips for all things Yoga.

My Yoga Online:
A great online community packed with information about yoga, you’ll fall in love with their helpful videos and tips.  My Yoga Online features articles (some written by founder Maggie Franz), videos, classes, programs and tips about healthy living.  Just another awesomely helpful resource to bookmark to help you live your yoga year round and all around!

Alignyo:
More than just an online store, this site is a wealth of information on yoga, healthy lifestyles, products, recipes and much, much more.  Alignyo has great articles and tips as well as interviews from yogis all over.

Free Meditation:
Music can aid you deeper into meditation and yoga or aid you in quieting your mind.  Personally I love to practice meditation and yoga with music.  Music can get expensive if you’re like me and want to compile a whole bunch of unique and awesome tracks.  Free Meditation is here to help by offering you free music on their website.  If you have a laptop, tablet or any other device that can access the internet and has a speaker you have free music for your meditation and yoga!  That’s only the beginning though.  Free Meditation has all kinds of awesome resources, classes and information as well – and its all for free!!
