Lydia’s Organics

Black Dog Asana ApprovedAs yogis we are always trying to eat healthy and avoid the over processed, preservative laden and chalked full of sugar snack foods and beverages that are lining the shelves of our grocery stores.  After all we do all of this work to make sure our bodies work well and are healthy – why should we pollute it all over again with foods that give us no nutritional value, but are full of empty calories.  We are not the only ones who are craving great tasting healthy options.  There are a lot of health food stores and companies popping up over the country.  So how do you know which ones actually taste good?  Well we found one that we love.  Lydia’s Organics is an amazing company that is developing great tasting, gluten free, healthy foods.  And you don’t have to take my word for it.  I packed them for our www.mymintyoga.com photo shoot in Ohiopyle this past week.

Both my business partner Emily and our Photographer Kelsey practice yoga, lead a healthy lifestyle and either live with someone or they themselves are gluten free.  Both of these lovely ladies tried these unique snacks  from Lydia’s Organics – the Rawkin’ Carrot Chips, the Rawkin’ Pizza Chips, the Spicy Beet Chips and more.  They have Spirulina bars, Kale Crunchies as well as different crackers, granolas, breads and more.  All of Lydia’s Organics products are obviously organic.  Read the ingredients and you’ll find that they really are gluten free.  Try them and you’ll be surprised at how tasty they can be!  I was a sceptic before I actually got to try them.  I am quite new to these types of products.  Emily and Kelsey, who both eat similar products loved the taste of the chips and both remarked at the unique flavor as well as asked where they themselves could get some!

We say it time and time again – products have to work (or in this great taste) great for them to receive our seal of approval.  We don’t jus throw this guy around.  Lydia’s Organics are healthy snacks that fill you up but won’t fill you out.  They are wonderful for anyone with a gluten intolerance or Celiac’s.  Their ingredients are naturally grown foods like carrots, kale, and almonds so you won’t have to spend three hours translating or deciphering their labels if you have food allergies, or reactions to different ingredients.  Also there are no artificial preservatives in these things.  They are all around great and we love them.  If you want to be healthy or if you have to be healthy and want it to taste great then you need to check out Lydia’s.  No “rabbit food” here – just great tasting nutrition.  Isn’t that the way food is supposed to be?  When did the world loose sight of that?  Thank goodness Lydia’s Organics has kept its eye on the target!
